Conference and Events Manager

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and professional Conference and Events Manager at the Montague on the Gardens Hotel, part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection.

The Montague on the Gardens Hotel is a stunning four star deluxe property located in the heart of London’s elegant Bloomsbury. This wonderful hotel features 100 individually designed bedrooms and suites, an established bar, restaurant, wood deck terrace and 5 function suites.

Main responsibilities of the Conference and Events Manager include:

  • To ensure a smooth running of the Conference and Banqueting department
  • Respond to daily enquiries and put together proposals
  • Process function sheets and communicate with the relevant departments
  • To deal and follow up with wedding enquiries and bookings
  • Be able to process invoices and equipment orders
  • To nurture and maintain relationships with clients, both corporate and agency-based

This is a full-time position with working hours mainly from Monday to Friday.

 The ideal candidate for the Conference and Events Manager position should:

  • Have previous experience as an Events Executive/Manager in a four or five star environment
  • Be a great communicator with a positive attitude at all times
  • Have excellent attention to detail and be able to cope in a high-paced environment
  • Have good organisation and time management skills
  • Have an eager to learn, friendly and professional attitude
