“I have stayed at the Montague several times again this year (have been staying there for a number of years now) and have reservations for a considerable number of days next year. This may tell you how happy I am with my experience. I always appreciate the small details in the rooms which make my stay comfortable tea and water replaced as I drink them, good hangers (including women’s suit hangers) that are not captive on the rail, good quality hair dryer, dressing gown and slippers, toiletries again always replaced as used, cushions pillows and comfortable bed. The hotel is quiet at night and I sleep well. I also love the night light in the bathrooms.
In the last few weeks I have stayed with an ankle injury and been provided with ice packs, with a dreadful cold that meant I lost my voice and was offered hot lemon and honey. On the rare occasion something is wrong with the room it is put right promptly.
I always feel at home when I stay there.”

The concierge were equally helpful on advising on a film to see at The Renoir Cinema, as well as calling a taxi for me to go on a visit. Our stay at The Montague was the best experience we have ever had at a hotel. You have the best staff there is - period. Everyone - from the front desk to the concierge team to the housekeeping staff to the engineer to the dining staff - attended to our every need, never missing a beat, so that we felt like royalty. We could not leave our room for more than a half-hour without returning to a freshened, even cleaner room, with a chocolate on the pillow. My husband attributes his best sleep in thirty years to the wonderful, luxurious bed! The food was delicious and delightfully English - my husband is addicted to bubble and squeak and now I have to learn to make it!The hotel is a beauty - every public room is a pleasure. And we could not have asked for a better location. If 5 stars is the top, The Montague on the Gardens rates a 6. Thanks everyone for the stay of our lives.

All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I am embarrassed to say that I did not manage to note any staff names. However, I must mention the charming young man welcomed us on arrival and after we had checked in showed us around the hotel, took us to our room and delivered our luggage. I would also like to mention the young lady who looked after us on Saturday. She apologised for not greeting us beforehand but had been on a training course when we arrived. She was very professional and attentive without being intrusive, a difficult balance to achieve. Although we are occasional rather than regular visitors to London it is safe to stay that the Montague will our new hotel of choice. Many thanks to you all and we look forward to staying with you again in the not too distant future.

From the moment we checked in, everything was perfect. I would like to highly commend Patrick on the concierge desk who did an outstanding job of looking after us. Whoever booked us into room 47 - huge 'thank you'.What a stunning room. We were absolutely delighted. I had a fantastic conversation with the sommelier in the bar, discussing the merits of Sauvignon Blanc: he told me the connection with the South African SB being sold behind the bar - enlightening and interesting. All in all - a perfect stay at our favourite hotel.

Your wonderful property was one of the highlights of our European trip. We cannot say enough positive things about the location, beautiful rooms, bar, etc. That being said, it was the level of service that the staff provided that made a lasting impression. They knew our names, the bar staff remembered what we liked for drinks and the concierge's recommendations for dinner each evening were fantastic. We booked the Montague based on all of the positive reviews that we read on Trip Advisor, and it truly lived up to and surpassed our expectations! We will no doubt return to your property!

My wife and I stayed with you for one night on Saturday, as part of our celebrations for Mrs C’s 30th birthday. I would like to thank all of your staff for making it such a lovely visit, and staying at the Montague on the Gardens was the highlight of our weekend. We especially appreciated the biscuits, balloon and card which greeted us when we returned to the room in the evening, and putting us in room number 30 was also a nice touch. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast on the terrace was lovely.
