The Terrace and Garden Grill are two of The Montague’s most popular features - a secluded, quiet and private open-air space in the heart of the city, overlooking the sculptures in the gardens of the Bedford Estate.
Guests can enjoy relaxed al fresco breakfast, lunches, dinners and traditional Afternoon Teas. To accompany, we are delighted to announce a Milkshake Menu and the return of our unique ‘Pimm’s 10 Ways’ cocktails, featuring the 'Pim Pom' with pomegranate, the 'Summer Passion Pimm’s' with vodka and passion fruit, and the one and only ‘Shiver me ‘Pimmbers’ with dark rum. The Garden Grill & Terrace
During the summer months, the Garden Grill is the ultimate in al fresco dining, featuring a selection of mouth watering a la carte dishes, barbecues cooked from the grill and is also the perfect venue in which to host your summer barbecue party right in the heart of London. With the tantalising aromas from the sizzling grill and the unique and beautiful surroundings dining al fresco at The Garden Grill, the perfect summer venue, is an experience to remember. The Terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, overlooking the tranquil Bedford Estate Gardens. With the tantalising aromas from the sizzling barbecue, dining al fresco at The Montague, the perfect summer hideaway, will be an experience to remember.
On occasion it is necessary to close the Terrace and Garden Grill to guests due to private functions taking place. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause you.
Herb Garden
The Herb Garden is the ultimate in intimate al fresco dining. This lovely area, located just off the small conservatory, is ideally suited to cocktail receptions for up to ten guests or private dining for up to six guests.

- Reception / informal style barbecue with occasional seating - up to 200 people
- Lunch or dinner on the Terrace - one table - up to 24 people
