The Terrace and Wood Deck is one of The Montague’s most popular features -  a secluded, quiet and private open-air area in the heart of the city, overlooking the sculptures in the gardens of the Bedford Estate.

During the warmer months, the Wood Deck becomes especially lively with music and fun when the hotel hosts its regular series of spectacular barbecues that light up the summer.
Guests can enjoy relaxed and secluded Al Fresco lunches; dinners and traditional afternoon teas on our terrace while sipping long cool Pimm’s or sophisticated cocktails under the summer sun.
Every day there’s a barbecued lunch from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, with succulent chicken from the spit roast on Sundays, plus a fine selection of meats and fish, including burgers, steaks and tuna.

Each evening Al Fresco dinner is served on the Terrace which also doubles up as a gorgeous Cigar Lounge, featuring a superb range of cocktails, but more importantly a humidor stocked with a carefully selected range of 20 different cigars, ranging from Ranging from Romeo Y Julieta Petit Coronas and Romeo Y Julieta Churchill, right up to a magnificent Cohiba Siglo VI.
