Event: For Your Eyes Only - celebrating James Bond
Date: April 17th 2008 until March 1st 2009
This year marks the centenary of spy-novelist Ian Fleming's birth and visitors staying at luxury London hotel the Montague from April can choose to celebrate this by attending a special James Bond exhibition.
From April 17th 2008 until March 1st 2009, the Imperial War Museum London will play host to For Your Eyes Only, the first major exposition dedicated to Fleming and his work.
British spy James Bond first appeared in print 50 years ago and has demonstrated incredible staying power as a brand in the British and global consciousness.
For Your Eyes Only will include rare material, such as annotated Bond manuscripts and a Colt Python .357 Magnum revolver which was presented to Fleming by the manufacturers.
Fans new and old will have plenty to marvel at from Goldfinger's golf shoes to a 'bloody' T-shirt worn by Daniel Craig in Bond's most recent outing - Casino Royale.
Bond's leading ladies also get a look in at the exhibition, in the form of Halle Berry's Die Another Day bikini and Rosa Klebb's flick knife shoes, seen in From Russia with Love.
