Three new short plays at Cottesloe Theatre

Event: Baby Girl, DNA, The Miracle
Date: February 16th 2008 - June 3rd 2008

Parents staying at luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens looking for an insight into their teenage child's mind will not want to miss a series of upcoming plays at the National Theatre's Cottesloe Theatre starting next month.

Showing from February 16th 2008 until June 3rd 2008, the trio of plays by Roy Williams, Dennis Kelly and Lin Coghlan are described by the National Theatre as "punchy", "probing" and "vital".

The production Baby Girl by Williams explores the life of 13-year-old Kelle who fears her school will find out that she is still a virgin and is contemplating shedding this status with ladies-man Nathan.

DNA, the second play showing and written by Kelly, tells the story of a group of teenage misfits who bond over a bad deed they commit, while Coghlan's The Miracle brings religion into the mix when a statue of the Holy Mother appears in a teenage girl's bedroom.

Each play lasts under an hour and patrons attending from nearby luxury hotel the Montague can expect to see a minimum of two plays in any one sitting, with all three plays occasionally performed.
