Gilbert and Sullivan's perennial favourite operatic offering Pirates of Penzance is taking place at the theatre from February 14th until March 1st 2008 and features comedienne Jo Brand as the Sergeant of Police.

London Town reveals that this third performance of the swashbuckling classic is set to be the final production in the run and is "poised to go out with a bang".

Described as capturing the "the glorious world of Gilbert and Sullivan in all its whimsical ingenuity", Pirates of Penzance tells the tale of Frederic and his love for young Mabel.

Those attending performances from nearby luxury London hotelthe Montague on the Gardens can look forward to a "topsy turvy" plot featuring orphaned pirates, policemen and maidens galore set on the high seas.
