Robin Trower at the Mean Fiddler

Event: Robin Trower at the Mean Fiddler
Date: May 23rd 2008

Aging Procul Harum guitarist Robin Trower is set to prove his strumming skills are still as keen as ever when he performs at the Mean Fiddler in London this May.

Visitors to luxury London hotel the Montague can anticipate hearing a selection of old and new tunes at the Westminster venue.

Currently touring in the US, British blues rocker Trower will be back in the UK capital on May 23rd 2008 after visiting venues in Europe.

Once described as the "white Hendrix", those watching his event from luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens can look forward to performances of songs from Procol Harum albums dating back to the 1960s such as Shine on Brightly, A Salty Dog, Ain't Nothin' to Get Excited About, Home and Broken Barricades.

Newer hits that may well form part of the 62-year-old singer's repertoire could include songs from the new millennium recorded with his Robin Trower Band, including Go My Way, Speed of Sound: The Best of Robin Trower, Living Out of Time, Another Days Blues and Living Out of Time.

Procol Harum fans will no doubt be holding out for a rendition of the classic hit A Whiter Shade of Pale.
