The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other

Event: The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other
Date: February 6th 2008 until April 12th 2008

Guests of luxury London hotel the Montague will be in the right place to see The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other at London's National Theatre.

Some 27 actors, playing a total of 450 different characters take part in the performance, in a piece that does not actually contain any words.

Located on London's South Bank, the theatre will stage the 100-minute play until April 12th, giving guests of the luxury London hotel the Montague plenty of opportunities to attend a performance.

"Surprising, funny, fast and physical, this is theatre to set the imagination on fire," is how the theatre describes the play, which begins in an empty town square that soon becomes populated by all kinds of characters.

James Macdonald directs the translation of Peter Handke's play, with Time Out praising the show's actors for offering "the equivalent of emotional binoculars".

The performance takes place in the Lyttelton theatre within the National Theatre, which seats 890 people.
