A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Novello Theatre

Bringing a splash of sunshine to a wintry London, Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream is coming to the Novello Theatre.

The play tells the tale of four lovers whose romantic relationships are disrupted when they enter a fairytale woodland inhabited by the king and queen of the fairies.

Further complicating the matter are Bottom and his band of amateur actors, who are rehearsing a play in the same forest.

One of Shakespeare's most popular plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream blurs the boundaries between the imagination and the real world, as the forest's web of magic entraps them all.

A revival of Gregory Doran's 2005 production, Joe Dixon will move from the role of Oberon in its initial run to that of Bottom for his second appearance.

Other cast members include Peter de Jersey, Mark Hadfield, Edward Bennett and Ricky Champ.

After returning from the theatre, visitors can keep the magic alive by booking a suite at the luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens.
