Come and see the Islington Dance Festival

People visiting London this summer will be sure to want to pop down to Islington to see the dance festival in full swing.

The event, which runs from June 19th to July 8th, will display a variety of dances, from classical to hip hop, with some even showing off their belly dancing skills.

This event has a twist from other dance shows, as some of the performances will be put on by people with special needs and disabilities.

A mix of performers will be present, including professionals and local artists.

July 6th will also be a big day for the festival, as it will host the world premiere of Elena Giannotti's One girl B.a.n.d at the Union Chapel.

Sunday July 7th will also host premieres, from Janyce Michellod and Angie Smalis.

Other notable performances include one from Butoh at the City Street Academy on July 5th, where admission is free.
