New Writing Festival - Daring Pairings at the New Hampstead Theatre
Event: New Writing Festival - Daring Pairings
Date: October 28th until November 7th
Hampstead Theatre's New Writing Festival is a wonderful celebration of unexpected literary collaborations and a must-see for theatre fans.
This year's event celebrates the theatre's 50th year and, to mark the occasion, the showcase will be lead by an exciting new play from Atiha Sen Gupta, a talented young playwright who is set to be a big figure in the performing arts world for the foreseeable future.
What Fatima Did is a provocative exploration of attitudes to identity, freedom and multiculturalism in the capital.
Five companies will present work, including the Central School of Speech and Drama, The Factory and the Nabakov theatre.
For fans of the performing arts, this is a show not to be missed and, by staying at the luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens, guests will be less than 15 minutes away from the action.
With the Get More From Your Stay package, visitors are given a wonderful choice from a late checkout until 18:00 GMT, two adult tickets to a British Museum exhibition, a two-course table d'hote dinner, traditional afternoon tea and a bottle of chilled Champagne.
