Mrs Klein is a witty look at mother-daughter relationships and a must-see for theatre fans, who can see its first major UK revival in London soon.

The Almeida Theatre is the place where the story of Mrs Klein, a brilliant psycho-analyst, and her daughter, also a psycho-analyst, will be told.

Set in London in 1934, the play focuses on the relationship between the pair, which has been damaged almost beyond repair and comes under further strain when they receive an unexpected message from abroad.

The contents of the message cause a bitter confrontation between the pair and throws up a mystery that not even the brilliant Mrs Klein is able to solve.

Her new assistant, a refugee from Hitler's Berlin, takes up the challenge of breaking the riddle.
