First exhibition opens at new Museum of Everything

Event: Exhibition #1
Date: October to 23rd December

Guests taking a break at the luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens this autumn will have the opportunity to check out the inaugural exhibition at the latest addition to the capital's museum scene.

Showing until 23rd December, the simply titled 'Exhibition #1' sees the Museum of Everything give its main space over to some of the most visionary, yet overlooked, artists of recent years.

Guest-curated by stars of the London arts scene such as Annette Messenger and Hans Ulrich Obrist, the exhibition includes paintings, sculptures and installations by the likes of Henry Darger, Nek Chand and Madge Gill.

With the Museum of Everything located just to the north of the capital's centre, close to the bustling Camden Town, guests will be able to combine a daytime art-fix with an evening in nearby West End as they take advantage of the Get More From Your Stay package at the Montague on the Gardens hotel.

The Museum of Everything has declared itself as London's "first-ever space for artists and creators living outside of our modern society", with its first exhibition reflecting the artistic merits of some of the leading cultural figures of contemporary London.
