Enjoy a joyful break with Spitalfields Winter Festival

The Spitalfields Winter Festival is expected to make a return to London next month.

The winter showcase will bring into the city a programme of musical events and carol singing that is sure to liven up the festive mood even more.

Christ Church Spitalfields, which is located just a ten-minute drive from luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens, is the main venue for the festival, which runs on various dates in December.

Visitors will be treated to an eclectic mix of concerts, talks and outdoor events including the Bach Series with the Monteverdi Choir and the English Baroque Soloists.

Street band collective Tongues of Fire are also expected to thrill festival goers with their "wildly energetic" performances featuring "a riotous mix of reed, brass and percussion instruments", according to organisers.
