Medieval Christmas banquet at Tower of London

Event: A Medieval Christmas
When: Dec 27th to 31st 2009

Just a 14-minute taxi ride away from luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens is one of the most intriguing attractions in the world.

The Tower of London is steeped in controversial and bloody history, having acted in the past as a prison for traitors, the venue of high-profile executions and also a place of refuge.

Between December 27th and 31st, visitors to London can relive part of the tower's history by joining King Edward I and his new Queen as they embark on Christmas celebrations.

Travelling back to the year 1284, the event will feature a medieval Christmas banquet complete with members of the King's court, jesters and musicians.

Visitors planning to attend the party on the last day can get more value from their stay at the Montague thanks to the New Year's Eve Package offering one night's luxurious accommodation.

Valid on December 31st, the deal also includes four-course dinner, full English breakfast or brunch and a bottle of Champagne.
