Royal Triple Ballet at the Royal Opera House

Event: Royal Triple Ballet
Date: February 19th until March 4th

Everyone loves a good ballet and what better weather than that which we are experiencing at the moment to be holed up in a warm theatre watching a triple bill of classics?

Next month, the Royal Opera House will host the Royal Ballet's triple showing, featuring New Watkins, Rushes – Fragments of a Lost Story and Infra.

The Royal Ballet will perform the works from February 19th to March 4th with the New Watkins piece having its world premiere on the stage. The ballet is Jonathan Watkins' first for the stage and explores the concept of harmony and the creation of it.

This will be followed by Kim Brandstrup’s Rushes – Fragments of a Lost Story, which looks at a love triangle and the differing relationships within it.

Infra, from Wayne McGregor, completes the bill and also looks at relationships but set against an LED background of pedestrians.

A different team of costume designers, musicians and lighting designers will work on each performance, creating three different experiences.

After an evening of wonderful dancing, audiences will need a place to stay and should look no further than the luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens.

It is currently offering the Get More From Your Stay package, giving a choice of tickets to an exhibition at the British Museum, a bottle of Champagne, afternoon tea for two, late check out or a dinner for two one evening.
