Argentinean tango musical Tanguera is set to arrive in London in August after touring the world to critical acclaim.

The story of young French woman Giselle who arrives in Argentina as one of the first European immigrants and meets port worker Lorenzo, Tanguera has been hailed by the New York Post as "a tango tale tour-de-force".

Lorenzo falls in love with Giselle at first sight, but finds himself struggling to win her affections as she becomes more and more involved with the underworld of Buenos Aires.

The show has already been hailed by audiences in Tokyo, Madrid, New York and Berlin, as well as the city in which it is set, where it ran for 18 months.

Featuring a full orchestra and tango singer Marianela, the show has been choreographed by Mora Godoy, an acclaimed dance star in her native Argentina.
