Event: London dance house to host AfterLight performances
Date: September 28th 2010 until September 29th 2010
Music lovers keen to see something different may want to check out a production being staged at London dance house Sadler's Wells.
Running for two nights from September 28th, AfterLight is a newly-created show based on Part One of In the Spirit of Diaghilev, which also took to the stage in the venue last year.
It is the work of Sadler's Wells associate artist Russell Maliphant and will feature music by Andy Cowton, who composed the hugely successful pieces Two and Push.
Described by the Daily Telegraph as a "miniature masterpiece", it has been developed into a full-length production for three dancers, with Daniel Proietto set to be joined by two female performers to bring the work to life.
Trained at the Royal Ballet School, Maliphant graduated into Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet Company before leaving to pursue a career in independent dance, working with a range of companies, including DV8 Physical Theatre.
Luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens could provide a good base from which to attend the shows.
Those who have booked the Get More From Your Stay package could also take the chance to visit the British Museum, as a pair of tickets to an exhibition at the attraction is one of the complimentary gifts guests are able to choose from.
