Event: Birmingham Royal Ballet at Sadler's Wells
Date: October 12th-16th
A tragic tale of forbidden romance and an eclectic triple bill of dance are being brought to the stage in London later this year by the Birmingham Royal Ballet.
The company will be performing Romeo and Juliet and Pointes of View at Sadler's Wells on October 12th-16th, giving audiences a chance to see performances that have already been given a warm reception by critics.
Romeo and Juliet - the classic story of two lovers who bring together their feuding families through their deaths - will be performed between October 12th-14th, while Pointes of View is to be showcased from October 15th-16th.
The latter will offer audiences a trio of pieces, including MacMillan's concerto, Slaughter on Tenth Avenue from the musical On Your Toes and In The Upper Room, which features music from renowned composer Philip Glass and moves from celebrated US choreographer Twyla Tharp.
The Times described In The Upper Room as "exhilarating from start to finish - a non-stop dance marathon" and so guests staying at luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens may want to act fast in order to secure seats.
Before leaving for the venue, those who book the hotel's Get More From Your Stay package will be able to enjoy a two-course barbeque meal for two.
Alternatively, they can opt for a bottle of chilled Champagne to drink on arrival, or traditional afternoon tea for two on one day.
