Having worked for several years for Red Carnation Hotels and in particular the Montague on the Gardens I was absolutely delighted to take on the role of General Manager of this exceptionally beautiful hotel, which is often referred to as “the hidden gem of London”. I am very proud to lead a team of dedicated employees who are all genuinely committed in providing each individual guest with a memorable experience based upon warm, friendly and attentive service.

I have worked in the hotel industry for some 35 years now and I have been Head Concierge for about 25 of those years. My experience has covered almost every aspect of the hotel service and has been absolutely invaluable. As your Head Concierge I'm here to ensure that from the first moment you arrive at The Montague the hospitality and service you receive is a happy and memorable one. Having polished my skills at some of the finest hotels & restaurants including the Savoy Hotel, Nico Park Lane & Hintlesham Hall, I arrived at The Montague Hotel six years ago as an aspiring Sous Chef and continued my journey up to Executive chef in two memorable years.
My passion for working at The Montague is the high service we offer which fits perfectly with the fine food we serve here. My team truly believe in the essence of daily freshly prepared food, which is an important part of your experience of staying with us at The Montague on the Gardens.

Since leaving my home country Germany and joining the Montague on the Gardens Team here in London more than a year ago I have to admit I don't miss it that much.
The warm and friendly atmosphere which welcomes our guests in this lovely hotel is the important detail that makes the difference. It is like a home away from home.

I started with Red Carnation Hotels in 2003 in the Central Reservations Department. Since then, I have moved to the new In-House Reservations department. This latest role has given me the opportunity to get to know our regular bookers on the phone and I have built up some wonderful close relationships with our clients. 3 years with the company has given me an in-depth knowledge of our room types and facilities and I enjoy passing on this information to new guests.
