The Montague on The Gardens' new two-bedroom Suite epitomizes design chic.
Enter through its marble corridor where the walls are adorned with a faux suede fabric and a series of original prints strategically placed to create the 'wow' factor. On the floor is crème marfil and brown maron marble tiles and under-floor heating. Ceiling spots set the scene for that perfect setting.
The Suite dining room houses a table that can accommodate eight for dinner or use it as your private board room whilst away from your office. Your dinner can be catered from your own private fully fitted kitchen.
The marble-floored master bedroom has lovely bevel-edged mirrors. The bathroom includes a chic copper bath for two and a stylish water trough to fill up the enormous tub. While sitting in the tub you can watch your flat-screen television. Or listen to your I pod docking station. The elegant Red Carnation touch is everywhere. The sumptuous towels are from Christies of Manchester, a famous brand stocked by Harrods; the Montague 'M' is embroidered with outline stitching on the fluffy duvet; the comfy pillows provide the best night's sleep on your Egyptian cotton 200% fine combed bed linen. Close the silk taffeta drapes for blackout or privacy from your remote control all your creature comforts are catered for: the bedroom wall to the dinning room is glass that reflects the maximum light through to your master bedroom hence the use of electronic drapes.
The separate marble guest toilet has a blue nightlight to guide you in the middle of the night so you do not wake anyone including yourself. This light is used because blue light keeps your eyes closer to a sleep mode whereas a white light tells the brain to waken. Just another among the myriad of touches designed to make your Suite unforgettable.
The second bedroom has two beautiful wooden antique beds with footboards and a snazzy chill-out chair in brown leather from the 1920's racing style; an en suite shower room; flat-screen television; walls covered with white corduroy; marble floor; and Roman blinds for blackout.
The lounge, which is entered from the dining room, looks onto the garden terrace area at the rear of the hotel. How delightful to enjoy your own private space while sipping morning tea or coffee.
A great family Suite for short or long visits. And as a finishing touch, It even has an amazing art collection including John Bratby, a collection of Vertes and a stunning nude by Russian artist Anatoly Demenko, to mention a few. View images of our Guv'nor's Suite
