Make Travel Matter

The Treadright Foundation

The threat posed by climate change and the need to preserve natural resources are some of the most important issues facing us today. At The Montague, we are keenly aware of our responsibility to confront these problems head-on, and have instituted a Green Team to investigate and implement the ways we can contribute to this global process.

We are committed to our community and dedicated to social responsibility. Supporting local charities, conservation, preservation, nature, heritage and green initiatives including the personal development of each member of the team, is at the heart of everything we do.

Staff serving at the local Soup Kitchen

One of our proudest partnerships is with the local Soup Kitchen on Tottenham Court Road. The Soup Kitchen was founded in 1986 and provides a number of resources for the homeless, elderly, lonely and poor. Not only does the Soup Kitchen provide hot meals for the homeless, but the Kitchen also provides clothes and toiletries for people to use.

The charity aims to create a sense of belonging and community for people living on the street of London. Many members of The Montague team, have previously helped as volunteers in the kitchen as well as personally donated clothing and toiletries to the homeless and elderly. We feel that this is a great way to give back to our local community and encourage our staff to give what they can.
