The Montague on the Gardens

The crisp, dark chill of winter is illuminated with sparkling festive cheer at The Montague on the Gardens’ exclusive Ski Lodge in London’s Bloomsbury. Offering an enchanting, cosy après-ski experience, complete with a crackling fire, cinnamon-spiced mulled wine and pine trees swathed in twinkling fairy lights, the lodge is a firm favourite for seasonal celebrations in the city. Here’s what makes The Montague's Ski Lodge such a special place for a winter party.

Win a skiing holiday on the Wood Deck

Step into a glittering winter wonderland at the Ski Lodge’s outdoor Wood Deck; it's adorned with fairy light-strewn pine trees, lanterns, snowmen, reindeer and ski racks. Snap a selfie at the photo booth and post it to Instagram using #SkiMontague to be in with a chance of winning a six-night skiing holiday in Austria’s Zell am See-Kaprun. The lucky recipient will stay at the stunning Hotel Stadt Wien on a half board basis which includes lift passes and transfers to and from the airport.

Sip Christmassy cocktails at the Alpine Bar

At the heart of the Wood Deck, the Alpine Bar is crewed by a team of attentive mixologists, all experts in the field of seasonal tipples. Whether it’s a warming aperitif, a sophisticated festive digestif or a spicy crowd-pleaser, discover a well-stocked Christmas cocktail menu here. Vodkas come in candy cane, toffee and mandarin flavours, while our 12 varieties of fiery Schnapps certainly help to ward off the chill – it wouldn’t be après-ski without them! Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy our Choctail – a steaming mug of hot chocolate, infused with Baileys Irish Cream, rum or Tia Maria as well as our specially created Zell am See-Kaprun Candy Cane vodka.
