FAQ's

The Beach Bar

1. What happens if it rains or if it is cold?
Our Beach Bar has a thatched roof and we also offer a Conservatory if the British summertime lets us down! Our cigar terrace also has an adjustable roof and every area is fitted with state of the art heaters.

2. Will it be exclusive? What time will we have it from/until?
Yes, for any group bookings you will have exclusive access to the Beach Bar and additional areas (dependent on numbers). Our daytime events are between 12:00-5:00pm and our evening events are from 6:00-10:00pm. The licence for the outdoor area closes at 10:00pm however you can continue the party in our Great Russell Suite until midnight.

3. How do you serve the food?
The BBQ finger food is served on trays and is brought directly to the guests, so there will be no long queue!

4. Will there be a queue at the bar?
No, we provide additional bars in relation to the group size so no need to worry about long queues.

5. Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, we cater for all dietary requirements (advance notice is required).

6. What is the capacity for the beach bar?
We cater for events of up to 200 people.

7. Is there music?
Absolutely! We can provide you with our own themed beach bar music or, you can provide your own.

8. What AV can you offer?
A TV screen, microphone with PA system and a DJ & Disco.

9. Do you offer anything complimentary?
Yes, we offer fabulous garden games which include adult size Jenga and Connect 4.

10. What theming is there? Can we brand it?
The Beach Bar is fully themed and you are more than welcome to provide your own branding (subject to out hotels policy in regards damages to fixtures and fittings).

The Ski Lodge

1. What happens if it's too cold or raining?
We have this covered ‘literally’ as our ski-lodge has a roof and we also offer complimentary use of our conservatory with all group bookings. Our Cigar Terrace and Log Cabin also has an adjustable roof and our Ski Lodge, Cigar Terrace and Log Cabin are also fitted with state-of-the-art heaters.

2. What is the capacity?
We cater for events of up to 200 people.

3. What are the timings and will the area be exclusive?
Yes, for any group bookings you will have exclusive access to the Ski Lodge or Log Cabin and additional areas (dependent on numbers). Our exclusive daytime events are held between 12:00pm-5:00pm and our evening events are from 6:00pm -10:00pm. The licence for the outdoor area closes at 10:00pm however you can continue the event in our Great Russell Suite until 12:00am

4. Is a DJ and Disco included in the package?
Yes, on bookings worth £10,000 or more.

5. Do you have a snow theme?
The Ski Lodge and wood deck is fully themed with Christmas trees, reindeer and snowmen, fairy lights and lanterns. You will also be greeted by falling snow. However, you are more than welcome to provide your own branding (subject to out hotels policy in regards damages to fixtures and fittings).

6. What is the dress code?
Smart/casual however Christmas jumpers are encouraged!

7. Do you provide the music?
Absolutely! We provide you with our own themed Christmas music but you are also welcome to bring your own.

8. What AV can you offer?
A TV screen, microphone with PA system and a DJ & Disco.

9.Where do you serve the food and beverages?
The festive finger food is served on trays and is brought directly to you so there will be no long queue! Or, you can have a three course sit-down meal served in our Great Russell Suite/Woburn Suite/Bloomsbury Suite. All areas also have their own bars that are fully stocked, as well as festive themed beverages such as flavoured vodkas, mulled wine and spiced cider.

10. Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, we cater for all dietary requirements (advance notice is required).
